Spün 365 - Day 6: Slow Progress Is Still Progress

Today was one of those days where I didn’t do much.

I don’t usually work much on Sundays, so Day 6 was always going to be a little slower. I continued working on Spün Auth after I got back from church today, though.

Polishing Spün Auth

The UI is coming together nicely.

At this point, I’m mostly polishing things, fixing minor bugs, and dealing with inconsistencies across the interface.

Aside from that, Spün Auth is working really well.

All of the sign-in provider flows are fully functional, and the core authentication experience is coming together exactly how I want it.

There’s still one particularly annoying problem, though.

The Avatar Builder

I’m currently dealing with a bug in the Avatar Builder.

I fixed one problem, only for something else to break immediately afterward. 😪

And to make things even more interesting, the builder I was using managed to make some of the problems worse instead of better.

Classic.

Sometimes you fix a bug and accidentally unlock a whole new boss fight.

I’m working through it, though.

A slower day

Progress was definitely slower today, but that’s okay.

Not every day is going to be a massive productivity session. Some days are just about keeping things moving, fixing what’s broken, and making a little progress before calling it a day.

That’s what today was.

I’ll put in more effort from tomorrow and hopefully get Spün Auth much closer to the finish line.

For now, though, I’m extremely tired.

Day 6 complete.

359 days to go.
